Nearly a century ago, AC Ernst and Arthur Young both started accounting firms, which, in 1989, combined to become Ernst & Young. In 2002 the company absorbed Arthur Anderson into the Ernst & Young business to increase the range of their service offering regarding business intelligence. Today, Ernst & Young has more than 130,000 people working for it in approximately 140 countries making it one of the world’s biggest financial services, tax and business advisory companies.
