The New Qantas Frequent Flyer Card
Qantas has just brought out the companies latest Frequent Flyer membership cards. Allowing customers to load their cards with funds that can be spent in Australia or overseas. The new card also makes earning Qantas points even easier.
The Qantas Frequent Flyer Card is perfect for international use. When you’re travelling overseas, the card can hold up to nine currencies including Australian dollars. You can also lock in exchange rates before you leave so you know exactly how much you have to spend in a particular currency. The card also provides the security and convenience, of not having to carry cash around with you overseas. The additional currencies you can purchase and load onto the card are:
- Australian Dollars
- US dollars
- Great British Pounds
- New Zealand dollars
- Singapore Dollars
- Hong Kong Dollars
- Canadian Dollars
- Japanese Yen
You can earn 1 point for every $2 you spend on eligible purchases in Australian Dollars.
You can earn 1 point for every $1 you spend on eligible purchases in foreign currency.
Fees and charges:
- Negative balance fee - $20
- Monthly inactivity fee - $1
- Paper communication fee - $5
- Currency conversion fee – 3% of transaction value
You can also use Qantas Cash Card everywhere MasterCard is accepted electronically, including ATMs. Or you can use Qantas Cash to pay your bills online or over the phone. The card is also great for online purchases and shopping because it comes with the MasterCard Zero Liability, which can protect against fraud and unauthorised charges.
The Qantas Frequent Flyer Card is still your usual Frequent Flyer membership card but with the bonus of enabling the Qantas Cash Facility, customers will be able to spend funds while on holiday.
