About the Comprehensive Budget Calculator
This budget calculator gives a comprehensive list of income sources and expenses and allows you to enter values for each as weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly or annually. This makes it easy for you to get an accurate picture of your total financial situation, without having to do all the math or set up a complicated spreadsheet. The provided list of items also makes sure you allocate funds for things you may otherwise forget, such as medical expenses or car registration.
Use the tabs on the left to select the various different categories. Fill in values for each source of income or expense, and specify how often it occurs. The number next to the tab's title updates to show the equivalent annual total for that tab, and the table down the bottom shows the overall sums to show you your average expected surplus or shortfall. Remember that these are averaged, and so individual weeks and months will be different, depending on when larger annual and quarterly bills come in.
