About the complete home and personal loan comparison calculator

This mortgage calculator gives you a comprehensive comparison of two different home loans (or personal loans) and an estimate of which will be the better deal. You might also like to have a look at the basic loan repayments calculator.

Instructions

Enter your loan amount and then the name of the institution providing the loan. You can then fill in the details of each loan, including the fixed rate and period, ongoing rate, upfront, monthly and discharge fees. Use the slider to select the loan term in years. The results box shows the repayment totals of each option and the principal and interest is also represented graphically on the right.
