A quite standard everyday banking solution from ANZ with a fairly high $6 monthly fee and unlimited transactions across all mediums (ATM, EFTPOS, phone, online and branch). As is common with the bigger banks, rather than lower fees you get other (arguably less useful) perks such as choice of debit card design and special entertainment offers (pre-sale periods to concerts and live events, offers on movie tickets, etc). Some may find the worldwide acceptance of the VISA debit card handy, and the account may appeal to students in particular, with a 50% discount on monthly account fees for those studying full time.

- have notified ANZ of any suspected misuse of your card within a reasonable time of any suspected fraud or misuse of your card
